Quark Print Collection 1.1 Known Issues

Following is a list of issues discovered in Quark® Print Collection 1.1.

• If you preview a layout or PDF in 4-up or 8-up imposition mode, and then switch the imposition mode to 6-up, the preview displays incorrectly. To avoid this issue, display the imposition in 2-up mode and then switch to 6-up mode.

• If you choose Advanced > Print Production > Output Preview when working with an imposed multi-page PDF in Adobe® Acrobat® 8, color percentages do not display. To avoid this issue, save, close, and then re-open the imposed file.
• If you impose a PDF that contains an EPS with a background pattern in Adobe Acrobat, the background pattern may appear incorrect in the imposed file.
• If you have more than one copy of QuarkXPress® installed when you run the Updater for Quark Print Collection 1.1, the Updater updates only one of those copies. To get around this limitation, you can copy the updated XTensions® module manually to the application folder of the other copy of the software.
